Hub Declaration
Together we will support, encourage and participate in making Northern Vancouver Island a model and leader of rural and remote community climate action and we will have fun doing it!
This means the region will be in keeping with the 2018 report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from 2010 levels by 45% by 2030 and to achieve carbon-neutrality or “net zero” by 2050
